Physical form:

Sage roots are more or less thick and sink directly into the soil. Its root has many branches. This plant has a quadrangular stem, the height of which is between 50 and 80 cm. The young stems are dark green and covered with dense gray hairs. The leaves are long and spear-shaped. Lower leaves have long petioles. While the leaves of the upper part of the stem have short petioles. The upper and lower surfaces of the leaves are covered with fine hairs. The flowers are blue-purple in color and are placed on special rings in the upper part of the stems. There are 5 to 8 flowers in each ring.
